Dam - Sternlicht, purebred Trakehner mare by Amethyst and
out of Sable by Graditz
“Born during the dark of the total lunar eclipse in
the spring of ' 03, Stella di Luna came into the world --
our little "Star of the Moon." She was so very special
from the start! Out of the Trakehner mare, Sternlicht by Amethyst,
from the female families of Graditz and Luneur, she surely
is destined to become the quintessential equine athlete. Her
conformation is faultless as is her mind -- very inquisitive,
no fear or shyness. Stella is a leader in her group even though
she is considerably younger than the other yearlings. The
others seem to follow her example when presented with a new
situation. She is such a proud Trakehner and frankly, I don't
think we could have imagined a more perfect filly. As she
matures, we can see so much of Windfall in her. She exudes
an unmistakable sense of confidence and class, traits found
in both her sire and dam. Thank you Windfall, Sternlicht and

LATEST STELLAGRAM (January, 2007): Stella
made her appearance at the annual ATA meeting in Ohio in November,
2006, where she was champion filly in the national mare show
and reserve champion of the big Mare inspection for the studbook
there. This one is a definite "keeper," but may
be for sale. Check with Janet.
